The BT Eframe 1000 is a nice cheap wifi enabled photoframe that has support to grab images from and rss feed (say from Flickr). It has the ability to play audio files (but not movies) stored on a USB stick or SD card. My plan is to create a set of scripts that will automatically crop or scale images and generate a suitable rss feed that the Eframe will like. The reason for doing so is because I do not want to use a public photo sharing site to host family only photos. It will also allow me to configure an Eframe and send it off to family members and I can update photos remotely.
